ALTERS is a Polish psychedelic and progressive rock trio combining a heavy, vintage sound with modern electronics and a driving, trance-like pulse. Drawing on the members’ background in early music, the band incorporates historical influences and instruments into a contemporary context.
Known for immersive live performances and a strong visual identity, ALTERS have toured across Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and Iceland, and have also created and performed live music for theatre and performance productions.
The band’s debut album MILD was released by the Polish label Lynx Music, followed by DAWN, issued by the French label Musea Records. Their third album — a score for a theatre production, composed and performed live — was released by the US-based ambient label Zenapolæ.
Blinding Heat is ALTERS’ upcoming fourth album, planned for release in 2026. Built around long-form compositions, the record combines a heavy, vintage sound with modern electronics and a driving, trance-like pulse. Largely instrumental, it features subtle, dreamlike vocals and draws on the members’ background in early music through its compositional approach, lyrics, and choice of instruments.
Live performances related to the album are planned for autumn 2026.
